We considered the skin as a canvas, where all women carry symbols, traces, memories, trau- ma, oppression, scars, secrets and shame.
An open dialogue allowed for the uncomfortable parts of their bodies to be portrayed in both film and paint: exposing (literally) without smirching. Revealing without scandalizing.

Sharing a secret without tabloiding it.

So that our existence no longer feels like cloak and dagger.
